Reservations
The Submit button on the booking form sends this reservation request to us, at O Tamanco, for the specific dates you selected. We will get back to you by e-mail within 24 hours.
Camping
Even without a reservation most of the time there is availability. If you want to ensure your pitch, we accept camping reservations for high season till June, 30. Reservations are for a minimum of 5 nights.
You don´t need to make a reservation if you would like to come and camp during low season.
Pets
Your pet is welcome but must be always kept on a leash, accompanied by its owner(s).
Booking fee
We charge € 5 booking fee which will be added to the final bill.
Cancellation
If you unexpectedly need to cancel your holiday, we request you to contact us a.s.a.p.

Tube

The rental must be paid for during your stay.
The accommodation includes 2 freshly covered pillows, and a mattress protector. Bring your own sleeping bag and towels, although we can supply both at a fee .
Additional options
- Sleepingbag for 1 person – fee: €5
- Sleepingbag for 2 people – fee: €7,50
- Towel – fee: €1,00
- Fridge 40 ltr – fee: €5 /1 day, €7,50/3 days, €15/week
Pets
Your pet is very welcome except in July and August, when it simply gets too hectic. For the rest of the season, pets must not disturb other guests and must not be left alone in a Tube. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Pet fee: €8 per stay.
Room Occupancy
Please note that Tubes are reserved for single or double occupancy only. Due to safety implications we are not permitted to accept more than 2 people (2 adults or one adult & one child) in a Tube or the 2 person Yurt.

If you decide to cancel your booking, cancellations must be made 48 hours before your arrival time. If you cancel less than 48 hours before check-in, the full stay will be charged.
2P Yurt

The rental must be paid (in cash) during your stay.
The accommodation includes bedding. You should bring your own towels.

Cabana, the Artist Shack, and 4P Yurts

Minimum Night Stays
We really wish our customers to experience the back-to-basics concept, which implies a stay for a slightly longer period and therefore it is not possible to book for 1 night only. For the Cabanas we operate a 2 night minimum in low season and a minimum of 7 nights in high season. The Artist Shack has a minimum stay of 3 nights. The 4P Yurts have a minimum stay of 2 nights.
Changeover days in July & August
Preferred changeover days for four-person yurts: Monday or Friday.
Preferred changeover day for the Artist Shack: Saturday.
Deposit
For the Cabana, Artist Shack and 4-person Yurt, the deposit is 50% of your booking cost. Once we have received the required deposit the booking will be definite and we will send you confirmation to this effect via email. The deposit needs to be with us no later than 1 week after making the booking. The remainder of the rental will be charged at arrival. If you book within 4 weeks of the arrival date, the full amount must be paid immediately.
Cancellation
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the booked check-in date: the total amount paid in advance will be returned, minus a €50 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days from the booked check-in date: Total loss of the deposit paid in advance.
We suggest you take out travel cancellation insurance.
Kitchen linen, towels & bedding
Accommodation includes kitchen linen and bedding. Bring your own towels, although we can supply them for an additional fee.
Cot
The campsite can provide a cot & highchair. Fee: €10 per week.
Pets
Pets are allowed . Please let us know in advance so we can provide a dog bed, and a feeding bowl if required. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and accompanied by its owner(s). Pet Fee: €15 per stay.
Liability
The renting party will be responsible for the accommodation, furniture and all other household effects. We cannot accept liability or responsibility for any damages and/or inconveniences in or around the rented accommodation. We cannot accept liability for any inconveniences caused by situation changes not caused by us.
